Scape restaurant is one of the cheaper options available to guests for dining in the Burj but is somewhat expensive. In this case, it would not be awkward to not have a meal at the hotel if you are spending so much money to stay there.
There’s one thing that you should know which is that in Dubai one thing that’s common in all hotels is that they do not impose reservations upon the nonguests for visiting the lobby, but Burj al Arab insists on the reservation of no entry for nonguests. You can visit any of the other Jumeirah hotels without needing a reservation so if I were you, I too would not look at doing this while I had a reservation at the Burj.
Souk Madinat is charming and impressive and you can visit anytime. You could use a golf buggy over to the turtle sanctuary at Mina a Salam and a walk around the Madinat souk. You can spend two days there quite happily. Just feel free to visit the pool and beautiful terrace, roam around the various restaurants, take a golf buggy and abra ride to the Madinat Souk and visitant of the other hotels such as Al Qasr.
